In efforts to expand operations in order to increase its green initiatives and satisfy customer demands, Green House Data, a 100 percent green data center and colocation facility serving national clients, has opened an office in downtown Denver.

According to Green House Data’s Denver-based CEO Shawn Mills, recently added to the Green House staff, companies in Denver were in need of more features, customer service and flexibility from their provider, but they wanted the additions for an affordable price.

“Because of the energy efficiency of our green data center, our robust connectivity, and the cost savings that Cheyenne affords us as a smaller town, we can offer all the desired benefits with a lower price tag (News - Alert) to Denver companies,” Mills said.

Currently operating a green, collocation and hosting services facility in Cheyenne, the company’s expansion is the result of its continues focus to meet Front Range’s growing demand for lower cost, better service and green data center needs.

The new Denver center offers a zero carbon footprint that is approximately 10 percent more cost-efficient than other colocation providers.

With many companies all over the nation, and even globally, advancing green initiatives, companies are look to find a more economically friendly hosting and collocation environment. And, Green House’s new center comes at an opportune time.

“The growth and opportunity for our type of offering among businesses on the Front Range is exciting,” Mills said. “It's quite satisfying that we can offer them not only a better data center and managed services solution close by, but, also one that offers lower cost, better service and helps them reduce their carbon footprint.”

Green Data Center already is working with several Denver-area organizations with a high reliance on mission-critical data storage and availability.
