Critical Solutions Inc., a designer of renewable energy tower systems,
has received an order from Argon ST (

The Mojo system can be installed where there is no supporting infrastructure available. The system will serve as a self-sustaining, renewable power source for Maritime Domain Awareness, or “MDA (

Alert),” sensors. MDA is a government initiated system which generates actionable intelligence to be used to counter terrorism and ensure law enforcement measures in maritime applications.
The MDA sensors are employed in maintaining surveillance of ports and high value assets and can be fielded for months. Mojo serves as the remote power system and it uses solar and wind power to recharge thereby maintaining continuous operation at all times. The support structure for the solar panels and wind turbines are used to mount the sensors high above the ground for increasing the field of view.
President of White Door Inc., Jeff Sirianni, said that the Mojo renewable energy technology provides the best solution to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of MDA sensors by providing a self-sustaining power source that can function 24 hours a day.
“This is one of several military and surveillance operations that our products can enhance or make possible through our independent renewable power technology and we believe this order will provide great opportunities in these areas in the future,” Sirianni said.
Critical Solutions employs non-traditional sources of energy such as solar energy, wind energy and hydrogen for providing recovery, backup and primary power systems.
