Green Technology -Global Insulation Earns Green Guide Rating A

Global Insulation Logistics, a company formed specifically to cater to the insulated construction market, has reportedly received Green Guide rating of A by the British Research Establishment (BRE) for its specialist composite panels used for fire rated and security solutions.

Officials at the company said that they strictly follow green policy on every aspect of planning and design, construction and material use is carried out with regard to environmental considerations. The company even selects materials that guarantee no waste during manufacture, construction or end of life phases of projects and that can be independently recycled, diverting waste from landfills.

Co-founder of Global Insulation Logistics Ltd., Greg Hodge said, “We take our environmental responsibilities and the ambition to create a low carbon industry very seriously. We seek to develop financially viable projects that are still carried out in an environmentally responsible and sustainable manner.”

The Green Guide awards this rating after a detail checking on relative environmental impacts of construction materials based on criteria provided by the BRE Environmental Assessment Method.

The Green Guide is part of the BRE Environmental Assessment Method or “BREEAM,” an accredited environmental rating scheme for buildings containing more than 1500 specifications used in various types of building.
