Green Technology -Skyward Solar Power Provides Sustainable, Green Technology

Skyward Solar Power, a new solar energy company, is designing and installing solar power systems in North Carolina and throughout the Southeastern United States.

According to a release, the company began operations last month from its office at 3109 Hillsborough Road, Durham, NC 27705. It is owned and operated by Bruce and Jill Freeman and offers a wide range of products from solar hot water heaters to solar pool heaters for both homes and businesses.

Skyward Solar Power offers photovoltaic systems, which are used to capture sunlight to generate electricity for homes or businesses. Their solar thermal (hot water) systems use energy from sunlight to provide heat for hot water and swimming pools.

Skyward aims to educate homeowners and businesses about the overwhelming environmental and economical benefits of solar energy. Solar energy systems have become more affordable and government programs offer generous incentives to homeowners, builders, and business who adopt products based on this ‘green’ technology.

According to Skyward Solar Power, North Carolina residents and businesses can receive a 30 percent federal tax credit and a 35 percent state tax credit incentive off the cost of a solar energy system.

In the release, Bruce Freeman, owner of Skyward Solar Power Company, said that home owners and businesses today are keen on adopting environment friendly solutions.

He continued: “At Skyward we meet that need by providing 21st century technology that is clean, reliable, and durable. Investing in solar is a positive financial choice that provides energy independence at any scale."

The company adds that sunlight can help people become independent from using finite and polluting resources, such as coal and oil. Skyward is focused on helping people in the Triangle and Triad areas make the right decision toward a cleaner, safer and cost effective energy solution.
