Green Technology -i.Tech Dynamic Debuts Solar-Powered SolarVoice 908 Bluetooth Headset

The newly released SolarVoice 908 Bluetooth headset from i.Tech Dynamic, a dealer in the design, marketing and sales of mobile telecommunications accessories, is built with a solar panel through which the headset can recharge using solar power. This new feature technically speaking makes the SolarVoice 908 an infinite powered Bluetooth headset device add-on.

Sino Regent Services, an exclusive distributor of i.Tech in the Americas, said that the new SolarVoice 908 taps into the power of the sun to charge, making it perfect for consumers who are trying to be environmentally conscious. SolarVoice stays charged as long as it’s exposed to sunlight, so busy people have two less things to worry about: keeping their Bluetooth headset charged and reducing their carbon footprint.

Weighing only 13.5g the device can harness solar energy using the built-in solar panel whenever the panel is facing the sun. A complete recharge would take about 15 hours of sunlight and will last for a full 5 hours. A flashing green light indicates when the unit is solar charging, and an included headset cradle designed for desktop and in-car use perfectly positions SolarVoice to absorb maximum sunlight.

The headset has an infinite standby time in optimum sunlight and has a wireless range of 33 feet and the ability to be paired with two devices at once. Users can also stream audio from compatible devices using A2DP.

The eco-friendly SolarVoice 908 is claimed to be the first solar-powered Bluetooth headset with background noise reduction for clear phone calls and the sleek and stylish unit makes use of high-end digital signal processing software to reduce background noise and distortion. The technologies incorporated into the device can adaptively remove noise or hide it from the user using low-latency, low distortion, multi-band signal processing and psycho-acoustic masking techniques to improve the audio quality of the device.

Headset functions include voice dialing, or mobile phone dependent, last-number redial, call reject, call transfer from headset to mobile phone and vice-versa, auto re-link, which re-establishes the Bluetooth connection when the user returns to within range of a device, call waiting and call swap.

The unit also has an internal lithium-ion battery, so it can also be charged via A/C power and a computer USB port with a travel adapter and cable included. The SolarVoice 908 has a suggested retail price of $74.99 and is available for sale from Amazon. i.Tech has stated that the device will be shipping soon to retail stores and additional internet retailers.

i.Tech Dynamic recently unveiled i.VoicePRO 901 Bluetooth headset and had launched i-VoicePRO Bluetooth headset with dual microphone.
