International Energy Products Unveil Patented Bio-Degradable Lubricant - Lubrisilk

International Energy Products recently announced key lubrication technology advancement, so called ‘Boron CLS Bond’, which is considered as a major breakthrough for fuel-emission reduction.

Marketed as ‘Motorsilk’ and developed at Argonne National Laboratory on behalf of the U.S. Department of Energy, Boron CLS Bond is a non-toxic, bio-degradable lubricant that reduces both energy consumption as well as GHG (green-house gas) emissions. It helps users considerably save money, decrease fuel use, increase equipment life, lower maintenance and also help the environment.
Saving fuel and increasing the life of the equipment, Boron CLS Bond, a patented technology, is ideal for all industrial applications wherever there is a requirement to reduce friction, wear and power consumption (due to friction).
Considered to be more advanced than any other type of similar lubricant available today, Boron CLS Bond has been subjected to rigorous user field tests and extensive laboratory testing for several years, says International Energy Products. In addition, it has also been verified by an accredited international agency, in order to increase lubricity, reduce friction, increase horsepower and reduce GHG emissions.
For the best quality, Motorsilk can be mixed with Lubrisilk, said company officials. Lubrisilk is a patented fuel additive that lubricates the injection and fuel system components of the engine.
In other words, Lubrisilk compliments and enhances the benefits of Motorsilk when mixed to it. Together, these lubricants can provide up to 80 percent reduction of friction and metal wear and up to 16 percent increase in most vehicles and more that 30 percent increase in other applications.
The addition of Lubrisilk to Motorsilk not only increases equipment uptime, but also reduces maintenance intervals from 50 percent to 100 percent. The Lubrisilk fuel addictive also reduces sulfur content in fuel, said company officials.
Lubrisilk is based on a friction reduction theory, which makes use of crystalline boric acid platelets. This provides a solid boundary layer between surfaces, offering hardness equivalent of 85 percent the hardness of diamonds, said company officials. This feature makes the lubricant to outperform all other fluids, even during fluids dispersed, extreme pressure, or other friction reduction addictives.
International Energy Products said that Motorsilk is listed in the GHG (Green House Gas) Clean Projects Registry for "Mobile GHG Reductions." By utilizing this lubricant, GHG carbon credits can be calculated, accumulated and sold in international markets for cash. It is considered to be the only engine treatment and fuel treatment that has been qualified for carbon offsets or credits.
