Company official said, “Among numerous green efforts, CompTIA’s OEMs are producing ever cleaner, safer and more re-usable offerings, all of which have smaller footprints on our ecosystem."
"Our VARs are helping small businesses and households boost energy efficiency and reduce energy consumption, driven by “cloud computing” and “smart home” innovations. Our ISPs are enabling workers to telecommute, keeping cars and pollutants off the road. And our IT training companies are equipping a new generation of students to meet the exciting and evolving opportunities of the “green IT revolution.”
CompTIA also noted that industries should get “green” because it represents not only a moral duty, but also an avenue of great growth.
In greening IT, CompTIA said, not only is Mother Earth being helped, but companies can also provide new jobs and other innovative opportunities to help America compete and sustainably thrive.
As Congress begins the important debate on “The American Clean Energy (
