Win a Hybrid with Charter Communications Online Sweepstakes

Shopping online just got better! Charter Communications, Inc. made public today that they will offer new and current customers a chance to win a 2009 Honda (News - Alert) Civic Hybrid by purchasing services online.

“Our customers continue to tell us our online sales channel is an efficient way of finding the package that best meets their needs,” said Barbara Hedges, Senior Vice President of Consumer Marketing for Charter. “As a result, we are launching another fun promotion to promote this popular channel and at the same time reward our customers with savings and value.”

New and current Charter Communications customers can order online any Charter service--Charter Digital Cable, Charter High-Speed Internet, or Charter Telephone—and then are automatically entered to win a 2009 Honda Civic Hybrid. The “Save Green Go Green” sweepstakes is going on through the month of October.

“By Bundling Charter services out customers have the opportunity to ‘Save Green,’” said a spokesperson for the company, “and by ordering online, one lucky customer will have the opportunity to ‘Go Green’ in a 2009 Honda Civic.”

Charter gave away 30 laptops last month to new and current customers who ordered online with its Laptop-a-Day-Giveaway.

Charter has invested over a billion dollars in capital to serve its customers and to enhance its service capabilities this past year alone. They are the third-largest publicly traded cable operator in the United States and include a full range of advanced broadband services such as Digital Cable video entertainment programming.

In December of last year, Charter was recognized by CableWorld Magazine as "2007 Multi-System Operator of the Year." According to them, the company was selected saying they were "rapidly expanding its telephone footprint to take advantage of the triple-play offering; developing a consistent, data-driven marketing plan; and addressing its nearest-term debt maturities."

During the spring of 2008, Charter was honored with third place among companies with over 2,000 employees in the annual "Best Places to Work in St. Louis" based on the response of Charter employees to an online survey created and managed by the St. Louis Business Journal.
