While these regulations have not been finalized, this was an important driver of our decision to create this new Green Energy Group, and position us to take advantage of this demand-driven market.”
“As our customers work to develop power solutions for their networks to comply with the FCC’s mandate, BCI will provide a wide array of power options that meet their back-up power needs, including hydrogen fuel cells, micro turbines, solar and wind power solutions,” he added.
These new product and service offerings will be seamlessly integrated with the existing network installation and technical services business. The company already has experience in the installation of back-up power systems like generators and batteries. The usage of alternative “green” energy solutions will help BCI respond to the environmental issues imperative at present.
This new division will be led by Stenia Dziadiw, as vice president of the Green Energy Group. She will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the power systems solutions business.
Rich Hall will be director of the Green Energy Group and he will take care of the provision of critical infrastructure power products and systems to customers via VAR, distribution and installation agreements. Custom power solutions will be offered along with maintenance of field operation support and life-cycle services.
