Pricester.com's Genesis Electronics Takes 'Green' Approach to Gadget Battery Recharging with SunBlazer

Genesis Electronics, a subsidiary of Pricester.com, unveiled plans for its first consumer product line, the SunBlazer recharger for cell phones and other portable electronic devices.

The world-wide proliferation of hand-held electronic devices — particularly cell phones — has created an enormous demand for a consumer-friendly response to the problem of limited battery life. Genesis Electronics is taking a “green” approach to this problem with its portable solar energy solutions.

The SunBlazer is a sleek, wearable, holster-type cell phone case that utilizes solar energy to maintain the cell phone’s battery at peak charge. The SunBlazer eliminates the need to re-charge batteries using the time-consuming ”plug-in” method.

By continuously charging the battery, SunBlazer also vastly increases the talk-time available to the user. Genesis holds a U.S. patent for the technology used in its new product.

“We’re living and working in an increasingly mobile environment, with a growing dependence on portable electronic devices,” said Phil Thomas, Genesis’s chief technology officer and a former executive with Cisco Systems and Hitachi (News - Alert), in a statement. “Genesis is developing technologies and will deliver products that are specifically geared to improving the efficiency of the electronic tools that we rely on.”

Pricester.com, Genesis’ parent company, recently completed a reorganization to better suit recent and planned acquisitions, as well as the addition of new online product and service divisions. In May, the company acquired Genesis Electronics, a high-tech developer of solar and alternative energy applications for consumer devices.

Additionally, Pricester officially launched its Copia World International Shopping Portal division.

Pricester President and CEO Edward Dillon, commented, “As we continue to expand and develop the Pricester brand and its subsidiaries, it becomes increasingly important to properly organize the corporation, its individual components, and the effective allocation of both material and human resources. This reorganization optimizes our ability to execute current and planned activities.”

Pricester’s Chairman, Raymond Purdon, added: “Our addition of Genesis Electronics, the opening of the Copia World portal, enhancements to our Internet marketing business and planned growth through acquisitions, clearly called for this reorganization and will more easily allow for Pricester’s rapid growth and increased value for our investors.”
