AOC Unveils 'Green' WLED Monitor



Offering a cost-effective WLED monitor that cuts down power consumption up to 50 percent in the Middle East and Africa region, AOC has announced the launch of AOC e2752 Vq.

Containing no toxic mercury of traditional CCFL screens, AOC e2752Vq WLED backlight panel saves the environment. Perfectly suited for PC Gaming and Home Theatre environment, the Ultra-high dynamic contrast of 20,000,000:1 reveals more depth and detail in darker scenes.

Being more convenient than more common downward-pointing ports, the ergonomically designed monitor is slim and streamlined with discreetly concealed control buttons. Digital and power connectors are rear-facing for direct insertion.

Suchit Kumar, DGM, Sales MENA & CIS Central Asia, AOC said in a company press release, “With the rise of environment awareness in the society and bigger energy bills, we are glad to launch our e2752Vq, a Green Monitor which saves nearly 50 percent on power consumption besides offering the best picture quality and sleep looks at the most competitive price in the region.”

The price for the AOC e2752Vq WLED monitor is US$ 295 and it comes with a 3 year local warranty. The monitor is available across the Middle East and Africa region. Other features include Thin WLED Monitor – 18 mm thickness; Power Consumption – Power On: Plug & Play – DDC 2B/CI or VESA DDC2B; Contrast Ratio (Typical) – 20,000,000:1 (DCR); Power Supply – 110~240VAC, 50/60Hz; Viewable Image Size -68.60 cm; and Input Connector – 15-pin D-Sub, 24-pin DVI, HDMI and 20-pin DP.

Recently, the company launched the i2353Ph monitor. The monitor, which comes in a brushed-metallic finish, has a super slim display body measuring 9.2mm, and a transparent crystal stand.

The base has illuminated soft-touch controls, and can tilt to transform into a sleek wall mount (VESA standard), allowing the panel to seemingly float in space. The i2353Ph has a cutting-edge IPS (In-Plane Switching) panel, a superior type of screen that offers consistent image appearance and colors across the entire display.
