Eniram's Phenomenal Growth Receives Plaudits from GP Bullhound

GP Bullhound, an investment banking firm that provides advice on mergers, used its brainchild Cleantech Connect to feature the hottest and fastest-growing cleantech companies in Europe. In its annual list of the 50 fastest-growing cleantech companies, the firm recognized Eniram Ltd.'s exceptional growth record over the past few years.

Commenting on this latest accolade, Philip Padfield, CEO, Eniram, said in a press release, “It is fantastic that our achievements and the value of our software are being so widely recognized by investors and assessors of clean technology. It makes all of our dedication and hard work worthwhile.”

Eniram Ltd., the Finnish provider of data analysis solutions to the shipping and marine industry, figured13th in the 2011 Top 20 Fastest-Growing Companies list and was felicitated at an awards ceremony in London.

The company claims to have introduced novel decision support systems to reduce fuel consumption and emissions using dynamic trim optimization while its software supports decision making with information analytics.

Its extensive product portfolio is said to provide the right tools that enhance vessel performance and operations and ensure that right information for the right place is delivered in real time. This has an impact on fuel consumption and related operating costs.

According to the company, fuel represents the largest operating cost to shipping companies and increasing environmental regulations add to vessel operating costs. A decrease on these two fronts coupled with accurate and detailed analysis of ship performance in real time is noteworthy.

Exceptional growth at Eniram translated correspondingly into phenomenal increase in revenues, 620 percent over the last five years. This was fittingly acknowledged by Deloitte, which ranked Eniram number one in the Finland Fast 50 list of high-growth technology businesses.'

Given the fact that Eniram Ltd., recorded an increase of 300 percent in revenues over 2009 and an expected 200 percent revenue growth in 2011, the latest recognition for Eniram comes as no surprise.

In keeping with its commitment to supporting the environment, Eniram announced that it joined the Green Marine program as a supporting partner. Green Marine is a joint Canada-US voluntary program that aims to improve its participants' environmental performance beyond regulatory compliance by introducing best practices, reduction targets and new technologies.
