Energy service companies are fast realizing the need for reliable customer service. Hence, call center services are witnessing a sea of change in this sector.
Champion Energy Services has announced that the company has earned the highest ranking in customer satisfaction among Texas residential retail electricity providers (REPs). This was published in the recently released J.D. Power 2013 Texas Residential Retail Electric Provider Customer Satisfaction Study.
Champion Energy has an enviable track record in customer satisfaction. As an indication of this, the company has received this top ranking for the fourth consecutive year. The level of customer satisfaction with retail electricity providers is measured by J.D. Power in areas such as price, billing and payment; corporate citizenship; communications; enrollment/renewal and customer service.
Champion Energy scored 764 on a 1,000-point scale and this was the highest score among all the companies J.D. Power considered for the award. This was also the highest overall satisfaction score since the study first commenced.
The company provides 24/7 access to live assistance for its monthly electric bills. The company describes itself as having a customer-friendly focus, without any hidden fees or "gotchas."
“The J.D. Power ranking is an honor, and it reflects the value of Champion Energy's customer-focused business model," said Michael Sullivan, COO of Champion Energy. "There is no greater achievement than being recognized by your own customers for providing outstanding value and customer care. We are excited to come out on top again this year continuing the tradition of excellence. We want to thank our employees all across the company for providing exceptional service to our customers each and every day.”
Apart from winning new customers with its customer service, the company has also been winning new partners. Recently, it entered into an agreement with Lowfoot, Inc., to bring the benefits of smart energy to residential customers.
