Eton Corp. Delivers Sun-Generated Portable Power for Mobile Devices with BoostSolar

For the environment-conscious consumer, Etón Corporation has come up with a backup battery that is USB or solar powered. Called BoostSolar, this eco-friendly product lets you charge up your handheld devices and tablets, whenever you need them, when you don’t have access to power.

BoostSolar makes an important addition to the company’s Boost mobile charging line. With BoostSolar providing power via the sun, you can rest assured that your favorite device always has unlimited backup power during daylight hours.

Armed with a high-efficiency solar panel that charges an interchangeable, rechargeable lithium battery (5000 mAh), BoostSolar takes 16 hours to fully charge via the sun. If you are in a real hurry, you can also go for USB charge. It can be fully charged in seven hours by way of the Micro-USB DC input.

Thanks to its 5V/2A USB port, you can charge almost all mobile devices and tablets with BoostSolar. It can also charge multiple backup batteries in succession. For this, all you need to do is simply attach a removable battery pack and allow it to charge, and then immediately replace it with another to gain unlimited backup power. With the press of a button, LED indicators show how much battery charge is remaining.
