GreenQloud and Xeround Partner to Run Cloud Database Solution on Renewable Energy-Powered IaaS

GreenQloud (News - Alert) recently announced that it will be partnering with Xeround, a California-based provider of scalable cloud computing infrastructure. Both companies will collaborate over managing their zero-management cloud database solution for MYSQL applications over the completely renewable energy-powered infrastructure-as-a-service (IaaS) from GreenQloud.

GreenQloud specializes in cloud computing. In a statement, Razi Sharir, CEO of Xeround, said, “Capitalizing on GreenQloud’s renewable energy-powered cloud services allows Xeround customers who choose to run on GreenQloud to operate their MYSQL applications in a more sustainable manner. Likewise, GreenQloud customers can now take full advantage of the most robust database solution for MySQL applications in the cloud.”

Designed as an easy-to-use database-as-a-service (DBaaS) for MYSQL applications, Xeround essentially enables automatic scaling and offers high availability with just one click. Users of Xeround can now select GreenQloud’s renewable energy-powered IaaS to manage their Xeround Cloud Database instance. During the initial stages, Xeround is offering its Xeround FREE edition on GreenQloud. The company will roll out additional plans in the coming months.
