eData Collectors' Green System Simplifies Data Collection

Data collection can be frustrating with so much writing, typing, data entry, scanning, faxing and maintaining to do but Fulton County has shown that with eData Collectors’ robust and economical eData Catcher System, collecting information can be a breeze.

The eData Catcher System that digitally collects information was used by Fulton County to capture and track inspections data in 88 city of Atlanta buildings.

The hardware and handheld devices are waterproof and heat-resistant, are designed to perform in rugged and harsh environments with 10+ year life expectancy and require no charging or maintenance. The chips used can be re-programmed and are water, chemical, dust and heat resistant, according to company officials.

eData Collectors, Inc. (EDCI), based in Atlanta, GA, stated that its paperless, scalable system, which is HIPAA and Defense Contract Audit Agency compliant, had enabled Fulton County to customize an unlimited number of management solutions that were being used by the mobile staff during field inspections.

In addition, it also streamlined daily operations and increased communication accountability by allowing management to easily access information and customized reports, download and share them with other staff. This eliminates the need to copy or type reports.

According to the company, Fulton County will experience an immediate Return on Investment for EDCI’s system and an improvement in the management of daily operations. The highly economical investment will also save taxpayers’ thousands of dollars.

EDCI is a national firm developing management solutions, affordable and easy to use hand held devices that capture critical daily data in a business operation. All its solutions are paperless “Green” products that are customizable. Hardware is robust and the devices have been designed to increase productivity, safety, data management, compliance and profits.

In other news from March 2011, eData Collectors, Inc. (EDCI) asked the GA Senate to support the Senate’s Science and Technology Strategic Initiative SR 68 to create technology jobs for the state.
