Power Assure’s new integrated data center power monitoring and analytics solution is supposed to enhance uptime and reliability of data centers.
The newly released solution leverages Power Assure’ secure cloud-based EM/4 Energy Management software and Raritan’s (News - Alert) intelligent power monitoring products. It captures highly detailed info about power usage and temperature and converts them into actionable insight for data center managers. It is also claimed to be the only cloud-based management solution that can manage across multiple data centers.
Power Assure explained that the EM/4 software is the only secure, cloud-based platform to offer integrated monitoring, analysis, and automation of data center information and processes. It can be used to visualize and identify inefficiencies in a comprehensive way.
Raritan maintained that its intelligent power and energy management solutions allow data center managers, IT administrators and facility managers to be more energy efficient, improve uptime and find stranded power capacity. Its solutions are standards based and fit seamlessly into existing infrastructures.
There are other solutions available for smart management of data center but they are expensive but Power Assure’ new integrated solution offer accurate, real-time information on infrastructure performance for the management of data centers with much more efficiency and lesser costs.
Raritan asserted that Power Assure’ energy management software lets the companies’ joint customers achieve high value from the data collected from Raritan’s DCIM and energy monitoring products. It is pleased to deliver an integrated solution to help customers better manage their data centers by accessing and analyzing meaningful power and temperature data.
Officials with Power Assure stated that Raritan has some of the only outlet level control PDUs on the market and the Raritan intelligent power strip delivers the accuracy needed for data center intelligence and seamlessly allows Power Assure’s EM/4 to take action down to the outlet level for emergency procedure automation and demand-response controls. Together they can provide customers with a simpler, more reliable and effective way to manage power usage in the data center.
