Windsor, Ontario-based Enviromon.net, a division of Netmon Inc., has introduced a new cloud-based environmental monitoring service, that would allow businesses to monitor environmental conditions from anywhere in the world.
Called CloudHawk, this new cloud-based environmental monitoring service has been designed to prevent disastrous situations for businesses and property owners, Enviromon.net revealed in a press release.
With CloudHawk, all a user is required to have is a secure Web browser that will remotely monitor environmental conditions in plants or residences. Thus, with this cloud-based service, it is possible to know whether airflow in a server room is all right, a storage cooler is set at the right temperature or a rental property has the right level of humidity. In addition, this solution allows users to receive this vital information from any location. With sensors installed onsite, CloudHawk keeps on gathering data about the environmental conditions and keeps on remitting the information to the property owner via mobile devices and iPads. In case of any irregularity, the subscriber is notified by text message or email right away.
CloudHawk can be installed in the controlled environments such as laboratories, restaurants and cold-storage. It is suitable for a wide variety of industries including telecommunications, cold storage, and manufacturing. CloudHawk is also suitable for the owners of multiple properties, which are needed to be monitored remotely.
Eric Lamoureux, Netmon's president and CEO, maintains that the service is the first of its kind. “CloudHawk allows businesses and consumers to monitor environmental conditions from anywhere in the world through a secure web browser. All of Enviromon's sensors are supported including temperature/humidity, water leakage, airflow and many more. If a condition changes, CloudHawk sends an alert via text message or email,” Lamoureux explained in a statement.
CloudHawk sensor bundles are available at the company’s website. Priced at $22.92 per month, the new solution includes all necessary sensor hardware.
