Networkfleet, a provider of wireless fleet management solutions, announced the launch of the Networkfleet Fuel and Service Card with integrated fuel card reporting.
The company introduced Networkfleet Fuel and Service Card in association with Wright Express, a provider of fleet cards. The integrated Networkfleet Fuel Card is capable of monitoring precise information on all fuel purchases and includes monthly and year-to-date reporting to assist fleets to control costs and improve vehicle efficiency.
“By integrating Networkfleet wireless fleet management with fuel purchase reporting, fleet managers are able to collect concrete data and implement changes that will have a major impact on reducing fuel expenses,” said Keith Schneider, president and CEO of Networkfleet, in a statement.
“Networkfleet is delighted to expand our relationship with Wright Express to offer this new capability. The new fuel cards provide the ultimate in security and control while being easy to use and widely accepted by service stations,” Schneider added.
The integrated Networkfleet Fuel Card is already available in partnership with Wright Express. With this, users are in a position to identify fraudulent transactions and manage fuel expenses. The card report allows users to compare the location and purchasing time of the fuel with the vehicle location/time to monitor a potential fraud event.
“We are excited to work with Networkfleet to offer a universal card program to their customers,” said David D. Maxsimic, Wright Express EVP, sales, marketing and product, in a statement. “The pairing of their best-in-class telematics offering and our fleet card program offers our customers unparalleled reporting and management services.”
The company claims that the Networkfleet Fuel and Service Card is accepted at 160,000 fuel and 45,000 service locations nationwide.
Recently, Networkfleet announced the launch of the Networkfleet 5000 Series of fleet tracking hardware compatible with light, medium and heavy duty vehicles. The 5000 series offers 24/7 visibility into fleet assets, enabling fleet managers to easily locate vehicles in real time and monitor specific vehicle data such as mileage, speed, fuel consumption, and diagnostic trouble codes.
