Eco-friendly Local and Long Distance Telephony

Green Phone (News - Alert) Service as announced the launch of a eco-friendly local and long distance telephone service that will enable  customers to make green-powered phone calls with customer billed proceeds donated directly to leading environmental and climate-change organizations.

The company’s Web servers are 100 percent wind energy hosted and “Green Power Partner” certified by the EPA.  A key objective is helping customers offset the release of approximately 2,660 metric tons of carbon dioxide into the atmosphere annually, without sacrificing 99.95 percent carrier-class service reliability. This carbon reduction is equivalent to planting nearly 2,390 acres of trees or offsetting the environmental impact of 6.1 million miles of fossil fuel driving per year.
