Jinan Yinquan Technology has received the 2010 Shandong Province Outstanding Energy Saving Achievement award from the government for its independently developed Green2C Cloud Computing Platform (the Platform). The awards were bestowed at a conference where the provincial governor mentioned about reuniting the energy-saving achievements during the 11th and 12th Five-Year Plan period.
Jinan Yinquan Technology, which is a wholly owned subsidiary of China Intelligence Information Systems, Inc. (CIISI), has solely developed the platform with complete intellectual property rights. The Platform is based on virtualization technology and was designed as a basic cloud computing infrastructure with various cloud modules, including private cloud, government cloud and business cloud. It also provides an efficient resource sharing solution, which could help the enterprises and other organizations lower costs for operation, management and maintenance by reducing over 90 percent of the original servers.
In a press release, Li Kunwu, president and CEO of China Intelligence Information Systems, Inc., said, “The Green2C Platform provided by Yinquan is in full compliance with the conservation-oriented society and Green IT concepts advocated by our country. Yinquan maintains a leading position in virtualization technology and this solution, which has been adopted by a number of government agencies and business enterprises, has received very positive feedback. The award demonstrated Shandong government's full endorsement. We will continue to develop unique virtualization and cloud computing solutions with energy-saving benefits for our customers.”
China Intelligence Information Systems was recently in news when it announced that it has been awarded the Environment Protection Department of Shandong Province's virtualization project. The Department secures data and information security of its key applications and energy saving through Yinquan' solution.
The Department accepted Yinquan's integrated virtualization solution to improve their servers' utilization rates and enhance the datacenter security. Yinquan's virtualization solutions will also reduce purchasing and administrative expenses and will provide the Department with higher energy-savings and lower overall emissions thereby providing it with a more environmentally friendly computing solution.
