Go Green Expo, an eco-friendly event organizer, has plans to go virtual by utilizing Onstream Media's comprehensive MarketPlace365 Platform.
MarketPlace365 provides the tools to create an online community for your market sector or area of interest by delivering synergy and momentum that standalone websites can't match, the company stated in a press release.
To further its usage of Onstream Media's MarketPlace365 virtual tradeshow platform, Go Green Expo has signed a Letter of Intent to acquire Green Light Expo, a virtual green exhibition. Green Light Expo currently uses Onstream Media's MarketPlace365 virtual tradeshow platform. With well over 1,000 potential exhibitors, sponsors and other participants, combining Green Light Expo's existing base of exhibitors and sponsors with Go Green Expo, creates one of the largest green-focused virtual conferences in the industry.
“The new virtual Go Green Expo will take advantage of MarketPlace365's full suite of services, enabling it to showcase some of the most innovative thinking, green products and services available today," said Randy Selman, president and CEO of Onstream Media. "It's also gratifying to see how MarketPlace365 is tailor-made for associations, publishers and other event organizers to form alliances in their respective vertical markets. We expect to see more partnerships, mergers and acquisitions like this.”
Facilitating publishers, associations and tradeshow organizers to quickly, easily and affordably self-deploy and manage their own online multimedia marketplace, MarketPlace365 is a comprehensive, online lead-generation and communications virtual conference and trade show platform. It offers a compelling social-media experience for the attendee. For commerce and information exchange, MarketPlace365 brings communities with common interests together online.
In April 2009, the company expanded its Webcasting service through two new government agency agreements - the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission and the U.S. Department of Interior, Minerals Management Service. The value of both contracts was stated by the company to total $250,000. Onstream Media is a subcontractor to Ecosystem Management & Associates.
