Commenting on the partnership, Rake Jiang, vice president of international sales at Sixnet said that the combination of Welotec’s expertise with Sixnet's rugged solutions enables industrial customers to cost-effectively increase productivity and improve overall efficiency. International expansion would allow distributors like Welotec to play a key role in selling products in new geographic regions.

As per the terms of the agreement, Welotec will distribute Sixnet industrial Ethernet switches and automation solutions adding to the company’s existing portfolio of high-quality, reliable connectivity offerings.
In a press release, Reinhard Lülff, CEO, Welotec said that the company had been in business for more than 40 years and this has been possible only because it never strayed from its focus on providing superior products and excellent service and support.
He further added that the partnership with Sixnet allowed Welotec to expand its existing portfolio with a strong set of industrial switch and automation products, enabling it to create more customized solutions for its customers.
In a related news release, TMCnet reported that Sixnet, a global market leader of machine-to-machine networking solutions for industrial and wireless markets, announced that it had achieved KEMA approval for its EL 228 Industrial Ethernet Switch Platform. KEMA approval enables Sixnet to further deploy its rugged, industrial-grade connectivity solutions in power substations for grid modernization and Smart Grid projects throughout the world.
