ET Water Systems Completes $2 Million Investment Round



ET Water Systems, Inc., a green technology services company that specializes in water conservation, management and smart irrigation control, has completed a $2 million in Series C investment round.

The round was subscribed to by the company's existing leading investors.

"This financing demonstrates the strong support our investors have in our company, our team, our ongoing progress and our vision," said Pat McIntyre, CEO of ET Water Systems, in a statement.

"The past 18 months have been a period of major innovation and progress for the company as we have introduced new smart controller products such as the revolutionary HermitCrab, made major enhancements to our web-based solutions, brought to market new smart-phone and tablet remote management capabilities such as QuickDraw, and the built out our national distribution network," said McIntyre.

Officials with ET Water Systems pointed out that the fund would help the company to support new product introductions, including the recently announced HermitCrab accessory, which converts conventional irrigation controllers to web-connected smart systems.

Company officials said that the funds would also be used by the company to further research and development and marketing programs especially to accelerate the sales of ET Water's patented water conservation and smart irrigation products and services.

In December, TMCnet reported that ET Water Systems, Inc. launched a new mobile Web application, QUICKDRAW Mobile Control.

As stated, this new mobile app is aimed at enabling commercial landscapers and property managers to remotely manage and control irrigation water use on a broad range of Smartphones and wireless devices including theiPhone, Blackberry and Android (News - Alert) Smartphones, along with the iPad and other tablets.

QUICKDRAW is believed to extend that functionality to a broad spectrum of mobile devices, providing property managers, owners and landscape managers the added capability for immediate remote control of their ETwater irrigation system.
