Epoch Power Group Introduces New Electric Vehicle Technology

A new power technology for electric cars has been announced by Epoch Power Group. Future opportunity for India’s Electric Vehicle or EV and Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicles or PHEV industry will be stimulated with this technology. This announcement has recently been made by the global developer of innovative energy solutions for the automotive industry, Epoch Power Group.

Epoch Power Group is the only American firm with exclusive rights to represent this technology for the Indian market. A new fast-charging lithium composite phosphate or LCP battery technology is being introduced by the company. A complete manufacturing training program will be also introduced by the company. This program will be meant for Indian automotive companies who manufacture renewable energy vehicles.

In a release, Mustafa Saied who is the Managing Partner at Epoch Power Group said, “LCP technology has already been identified by industry experts in the world’s top automotive companies as the future of Electric Vehicles and Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicles. Epoch’s introduction of this cutting-edge technology will lead India to achieve unprecedented leadership and recognition in the Asian electric vehicle industry.”

Portable electronics have been using LCP technology for a long time. Its viability in transportation applications is now getting worldwide attention. Plenty of opportunity for integration in the electric vehicle industry is therefore offered by LCP technology.

Large-format charging battery cells with a fast-charging capability of up to 10CA are produced for the first time by Hong Kong-based CAU Charging Systems Limited. The company is therefore at the top in the field of rechargeable power generation.

In a release, Lawrence Huang, Director of CAU Charging Systems Limited said, “The local Indian market will gain in multiple ways with the establishment of local manufacturing plants. By training engineers to independently manage the plants here in India, we can motivate the creation of hundreds of technology jobs and contribute significantly to the local economy.”

Incentives will be offered to manufacturers of electric vehicles as a result of the recent decision by India’s Ministry of New and Renewable Energy or MNRE. A significant boost will be therefore received by auto makers that adopt this technology. These vehicles can then be offered at a much lower price than before.
