Power Assure, Packet Power Offer Wireless Power and Temperature Optimization Solution

Power Assure Inc. a data center infrastructure management solutions provider and Packet Power, a producer of wireless power monitoring systems, announced an integrated wireless power and temperature monitoring and optimization solution.

Packet Power develops power and temperature monitoring software and hardware that can gather the data needed to improve energy efficiency and operational effectiveness in data centers and other energy-intensive facilities. Power Assure and Packet Power are offering an integrated power management solution that enables customers to view and manage power use within the data center to overcome the previously-mentioned problems, said Power Assure sources.

In a release Jack Norris, vice president of marketing for Power Assure said, “Packet Power offers a wireless data center monitoring solution that is very easy to deploy. By ensuring that our products work well together, we can make it simpler for our customers to gather the data needed to effectively manage their data center power usage.”
