Smartphone Gifts to Technicians to Augment Bulwark's Green Approach

Bulwark Exterminating LLC, an industry leader in providing high quality pest control service is doing its bit to help promote the 'green campaign.’ In preparation for its nationwide launch of new proprietary software, it bought all its technicians iPhone (News - Alert) and Droid smartphones.

The company, which believes in taking care of the people that took care of its customers, gifted the smartphones for Christmas.

All the eleven service branches are expected to operate on the new system by spring of 2011.The branches in Phoenix and Mesa, Arizona are already using the new software, and the Las Vegas, St. George and UT locations were expected to do so during the beginning of 2011.

The new software was expected to save both gas and paper. Providing smartphones to technicians was a vital step toward that end.

Adam Seever, owner of Bulwark was excited at the prospect of giving technicians new phones that they could treat as their own. He added, “It’s our way of saying ‘thank you’ to our technicians, as well as making our company more resourceful and we know they will be used for company purposes.”

With the introduction of the new proprietary software, Bulwark technicians could upload invoices to the main servers through their smartphones and needed to visit the branch office only once a week instead of daily.

Seever considered this equivalent to saving thousands of sheets of paper and hundreds of gallons of gas on a daily basis. Not only was it a faster way of doing business, but a a cleaner and more resourceful way of providing pest control services to its customers.

In a related news release, Bulwark Exterminating LLC. developed their "green" pest control services with the intention of providing a better treatment plan, and overall pest control service for local residents, who actively displayed a keen interest in natural pest control services.
