The time for announcing new goals and resolutions for the New Year has come. Resolutions are hardly honored and one rarely uses the word “resolution” after mid-January. A different approach is being taken by World of Green with hopes to change that mindset. People will be able to make permanent changes in 2011 with the 31 Daily Green Tips and Giveaways shared by the online eco-friendly retailers, World of Green.
In a press release, Roberta Modena, founder and CEO of World of Green, said, "We wanted to motivate people to make a green resolution that will directly impact the environment because most people will make a change if it's easy, affects something beyond themselves, and feels good."
A different green living tip will be announced by World of Green throughout the month of January. The tip along with a corresponding eco-friendly product giveaway will be announced on the company’s website, Facebook (News - Alert) and Twitter. Real solutions on how to improve their own health and the health of the planet will be given to people with these green living tips.
World of Green has partnered with the top company for organic, whole food nutrition, Garden of Life to showcase fucoTHIN, as weight-loss goals are on everyone’s minds. fucoTHIN, a safe, non-stimulant, and effective weight loss supplement made from seaweed is a staple in many Asian diets. The "Weigh in on This" tip on Jan. 2, 2011, features this clinically-researched fat burner. The tip also includes effective weight loss strategies. As a way to culminate the giveaway, one lucky winner will win a year's supply of fucoTHIN on Jan. 31, 2011.
People are reminded to buy plastics free of toxic chemicals bisphenol-A and phthalates with the tip "Banish BPA". Lifestyle changes that people should be doing anyways are addressed by other tips. One such tip is "Get Wise on Water". This tip reminds people to drink eight 8-ounce glasses of water every day.
In a statement, Modena said, "Sustainable living is not just about doing things healthy for the environment, it's about improving our own personal health and sustaining that so we become a healthier population and a healthier nation. Living green and living healthy go hand in hand."
