WatchIt Completes Initial Tests for Green Fuel Reformer

WatchIt Technologies Inc. announced the completion of the first set of tests on its patent pending “fuel reformer” at the Environmental Testing Corporation, a high altitude, EPA certified Facility, in Denver, Colo.

Company sources added that this marked the first of two sets of tests that will be performed in a controlled, independent laboratory setting. The tests have been commissioned by the company in order to verify in-house test results.

It is expected that the last set of tests will be completed this week the results for which will be reported immediately. The testing comprises of two steps. The first set of tests evaluated the vehicle with the fuel reformer in place. The second set of tests will be completed without the fuel reformer on the vehicle by this week.

Each set of tests encompasses both emissions and miles per gallon data and is performed at ETC’s EPA certified lab, said company sources.

In a press release, Dr. Max Bennett, president and CEO of WatchIt Technologies, said, “The first set of test results performed by Environmental Testing Corporation not only met our expectations, but significantly exceeded them.”

“At this point we can not release the exact figures until the second set of tests is complete and thus comparable. We can say that we are extremely pleased with all aspects of the test data. As soon as the final set of tests are completed, we will begin to release the data. Our expectation is that it will be completed this week,” Bennett added.

According to Rob Ryon, CEO of Air Pure Systems, during the previous in-house testing, the vehicle, a 1999 Ford Expedition was tested with the fuel reformer in place and the resulting increase in miles per gallon (MPG) was calculated against the original new car sticker MPG of the vehicle.

The new protocol tests involve testing the vehicle both with and without the fuel reformer in order to arrive at an accurate comparative assessment. In the first phase of testing, without the device in place the actual real-time road testing yielded 16.7 MPG. Phase II, with the fuel reformer in operation and driving the same route, yielded 21.6 MPG, clarified Ryon.

WatchIt Technologies serves as an alternative “incubator” for developing and emerging “Green Technology” corporations. It promotes strategies that are structured to mitigate risk and produce returns in all market environments. It offers management consultation to companies that comply with its strict criteria and vetting process.
