Dell Unveils Laptop Featuring Hyperbaric Cooling Technology

Dell, a technology company, announced the addition of ultraportable V130 model to the line of Vostro laptops.

This 13-inch ultra-thin laptop has been designed with on-the-go entrepreneurs and small businesses in mind. Small businesses can leverage it to work virtually anytime anywhere wirelessly with 802.11n wireless technology and Bluetooth 3.0 for easy wireless connection to devices and peripherals such as keyboards, mice and headsets within a short distance.

Weighing approximately 3.5 pounds, the new Vostro V130 features the latest Microsoft Windows 7 OS, Intel (News - Alert) Core ULV processor, full-sized keyboard and 13.3-inch HD WLED display.

Built from aluminum and reinforced with zinc hinges and a magnesium alloy palm rest to make it sturdy enough so that it can survive everyday bumps and thumps, the Vostro V130 also features a SIM card slot as well as upgraded built-in webcam.

According to Dell (News - Alert), the new Vostro V130 is the industry’s first ultra-thin laptop to offer Hyperbaric Cooling, an Intel Advanced Cooling Technology, in order to help it cool quickly.

Available at $429, the new Vostro V130 also features an HDMI port for easy connection to High Definition TV. It also has the ability to back up seamlessly or quickly connect devices and peripherals using the two USB 2.0 ports, shared USB/eSATA port and VGA.

In addition, customers can choose their own level of 24/7 coverage with optional Dell ProSupport services and Accidental Damage Service with the new Vostro V130. Customers can also get help when they need it with DellConnect, which allows tech-support agents to troubleshoot and help repair system issues remotely.

For protection, the laptop also comes equipped with the latest Trend Micro (News - Alert) Worry-Free Business Security Services and CompuTrace anti-theft.
