mPhase Releases mPower on Command Active Reserve Battery



mPhase Technologies, Inc., a microfludics and nanotechnology innovator, has announced  the completion of the technical testing of the mPower On Command Active Reserve Battery for the mPower Emergency Illuminator. Featuring a military-style housing with active Lithium-Manganese Dioxide (Li-Mn02), the new Active Reserve Battery replaces the Reserve Battery technology which was instrumental in the success of the mPower Emergency Illuminator pilot test. Under normal temperature conditions, the Active Reserve Battery has a shelf life of as much as 20 years.

"After 20 years of storage at room temperature our new battery has at least twice the power available than our first twist to activate Reserve Battery," said Ronald Durando, president and CEO, mPhase Technologies (News - Alert). The Active Reserve Battery can be purchased from the mPower website for $29.99 USD.
