Sprint Customers Offers Paperless Billing Green Solution Through doxo



Sprint partners with doxo in order to offer Sprint (News - Alert) customers a new, easy-to-use paperless billing solution. They can receive, manage and file all their Sprint bills through doxo. Sprint customers can obtain this service for free.

Sprint bills will be received by the customers in their doxo account after they have signed up. Actions like print, download, or delete can be taken on the bill within doxo. Users can also file the bills in their personal online file cabinet and store them securely for as long as they wish. Bills from multiple providers can also be received by users with a doxo account. Customers can not only save time and get organized, but they can have peace of mind and also support the environment with this solution.

In a press release, Scott Rice, vice president of Care and Billing Services for Sprint, said, “Millions of Sprint customers currently go paperless through Sprint’s e-billing system and now we’re excited to offer our customers another environmentally sound paperless option that allows them to easily receive their bills online through doxo. Our partnership with doxo helps Sprint move even closer to our paper reduction goals.”

By 2017, Sprint aims to reduce its paper consumption by 30 percent. Since 2007, Sprint has already reduced its paper consumption by 27 percent. Paperless billing services have been signed by more than 23 percent of Sprint customers. Sprint has therefore saved save 2.4 million pounds of paper with the users using Sprint’s existing e-billing system solutions. The production of 13.2 million pounds of greenhouse gas emissions and 26.5 million gallons of waste water has therefore been prevented. doxo along with the existing e-billing system will be used to help customers receive their Sprint bills.

In a press release, Steve Shivers, CEO of doxo, said, “There is potential in the market for a massive leap in paperless adoption – three to five times higher than current levels. With Sprint on doxo there is a terrific new approach for Sprint customers. We expect to jointly eliminate tons of mail, reduce hassle for customers, and save a bunch of trees along the way.”
