Great Lakes Solutions, a Chemtura Business, Announces Price Increase on Phosphorus Flame Retardants
WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. --(Business Wire)--
Great Lakes Solutions, a Chemtura business, (NYSE/Euronext Paris: CHMT),
today announced that it will increase prices in all regions on Reofos®
35,50, 65, 95, 120, NHP, BAPP, RDP and Emerald Innovation™ NH-1
phosphorous flame retardant products by up to 5% for all new orders
placed effective Feb. 1, 2013.
"This price increase is necessary to support continued investment in our
operations as well as to offset cost increases for raw materials and
transportation," said Keith DuPont, Vice President and General Manager,
Great Lakes Solutions. "We continue to invest significantly in our
portfolio and operations to ensure reliable supply of innovative and
sustainable products and must increase prices in order to maintain this
level of investment and service to our customers."
Phosphorus flame retardants are used in a wide variety of critical
end-use applications including electrical and electronics, building and
construction, and transportation.
