Federal OSHA Recognizes Cintas in Aston, PA with Highest Safety Designation

Cintas Corporation (NASDAQ: CTAS) today announced that its uniform rental facility in Aston, PA has received Voluntary Protection Program (VPP) Star certification from the federal Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). VPP is OSHA's highest recognition for the practice of and commitment to exemplary occupational safety and health and "Star" is its highest distinction.

You are the best of the best, and today is acelebration of those efforts."

Only 165 sites in the region and 2,374 sites in the U.S. have received "Star" recognition from federal OSHA. The facility in Aston becomes the 8^th Cintas uniform rental operation, the 12^th company-wide and the 2^nd facility under federal OSHA jurisdiction to receive VPP designation.

The Cintas uniform rental facility in Aston first began the VPP process two years ago. The designation required monthly, rigorous audits and the close collaboration between management and employee-partners to achieve full engagement to continuous safety improvement. Approximately 140 people are employed at the facility.
