Donato V. Berardi Joins IMP Consulting, Will Direct New Compliance Practice
BOSTON --(Business Wire)--
IMP
Consulting, a provider of strategic technical solutions to the
investment management industry, announced today that Donato
V. Berardi, Esq. has joined the firm as managing director of its
newly established compliance practice.
Berardi will be in charge of IMP's expanding suite of services in
support of Chief Compliance Officers, their staffs, and executive
management teams. These services, in high demand in today's complex and
fast-moving regulatory environment, require a thorough grasp of legal,
financial, and technological issues. The services include:

advising on the potential impact of new regulations;

instituting or redesigning compliance programs;

analyzing legal issues related to compliance with securities
regulations and other legislation such as Dodd-Frank; an

guiding clients through remediation and enforcement actions.
Prior to joining IMP, Berardi was associate director of the financial
services practice at Protiviti,
a global business consulting firm specializing in risk, advisory and
transaction services. His 15 years in the financial services industry
have also included a variety of financial, operational and compliance
auditing responsibilities at State Street Bank, John Hancock and Iron
Mountain.

Berardi holds a bachelor's degree in finance from Suffolk University, a
master's in business administration from Southern New Hampshire
University, and a juris doctor from Massachusetts School of Law.
He is licensed to practice law in Massachusetts and Connecticut. He
