Mitel names Philip Keenan as VP for US channel business

Sep 03, 2010 (CORPORATE IT UPDATE via COMTEX) -- Mitel Networks Corporation (Nasdaq:MITL), a provider of unified communications (UC) software solutions, has appointed Philip Keenan as vice president of US Partner Business, the company said today.

In this role Keenan will be responsible for all channel sales and support activities for Mitel in the US market. He will report to president and COO Paul Butcher.

Keenan was previously VP of Multimedia Services at Nortel, where he established NortelaEUR(TM)s Telepresence and collaboration services. Earlier he held several senior executive positions at Polycom.
