Conquest Security Orders SmartCard/Common Access Card Management Console from Operational Research Consultants

WidePoint, a specialist in wireless mobility management and cybersecurity solutions, announced that WidePoint's Operational Research Consultants subsidiary received a $3 million order from its reselling partner, Conquest Security in support of a deployed cybersecurity solution for a Department of the Navy mobile environment.
According to a release, mobile cybersecurity solutions are used in circumstances where the endpoints (i.e. servers, desktops, laptops, mobile devices) are not fixed to a single IP address and are able to roam across various networks. These solutions are used in situations where they provide secure remote access to critical system applications for mobile workforces.
WidePoint CTO, Daniel Turissini said, "Communities of interest concerned with privacy and security can no longer be defined by location. WidePoint's cybersecurity solutions address secure access to multi-level resources and message traffic based on endpoint and individual identity, roles, and privileges. ORC's SmartCard/CAC Management Console met the rigors of Navy operational testing and configuration control approval. We are pleased it has been chosen to be integrated as a cost effective, value added security solution, leveraging and complementing existing defense network security solutions."
