BRIEF: BURGLARY: 2 men steal Kamiakin High projectors (w/photos)

Feb 09, 2010 (Tri-City Herald - McClatchy-Tribune Information Services via COMTEX) -- Kennewick Two computer projectors worth $3,700 were stolen from Kamiakin High last weekend by masked burglars.

School surveilance video captured the images of two men walking down the hallways of the Kennewick school with the projectors in hand.

Kennewick police believe the burglars, who wore black ski masks, green hooded sweatshirts and black ballcaps, entered the school using stolen keys.

A Kamiakin teacher reported last Thursday that his key ring was stolen from his desk.

The security photos show two men were in the school at 600 N. Arthur St. at 2:45 a.m. Saturday.

One is described as being white or Hispanic, 5-foot-8, weighing 150-170 pounds. The second man is white or Hispanic, 5-foot-6 to 5-foot-8 and similar weight.

Both were wearing green sweatshirts, jeans and black shoes.

Anyone with information on the break-in is asked to call Kennewick police or Crime Stoppers at 586-TIPS or 800-222-8477.
