'Alcatel brings Touch Mini, Tribe handsets to Spain'

Nov 05, 2009 (DMEUROPE via COMTEX) -- Alcatel Mobile Phones has launched an inexpensive touchscreen handset, the One Touch Mini, on the Spanish market. The One Touch MINI (OT-708)touchscreen phone features a 2.4 inch screen, MP3 player, microSD slot (up to 4 GB), and possibility for GSM and GPRS connections. The Alcatel One Touch Mini is available in Spain for EUR 59. Alcatel has also launched the OT-800 Tribe, its first mobile phone with a full AZERTY keyboard. The tri-band EDGE handset features a 2.2-inch standard display, 2 megapixel camera, 20 MB of memory with a microSD slot (up to 4 GB), FM radio, MP3/ACC/MPEG4 player, Bluetooth 2.0, 500-entry directory and the Opera mini browser. The OT-800 Tribe AcaeaEURoe which will come in pink, blue, green and grey AcaeaEURoe targets young consumers who are fond of e-mail, chat and texting. The Alcatel One Touch Tribe sells in Spain for EUR 70.
