DiVitas Selects Kurt Trampedach as Vice President of Worldwide Sales
MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif. --(Business Wire)--
DiVitas Networks (News - Alert)™, the leader in Mobile Unified Communications (Mobile UC), announced today that it has hired veteran sales executive, Kurt Trampedach, as Vice President of Worldwide Sales. Trampedach brings 30 years of experience building world-class sales organizations in the telecommunications industry.
Ranging from his role as Vice President of International Sales at Sycamore Networks (News - Alert), an industry leader in optical networking to Vice President of International Sales at Cascade (later Ascend/Lucent) to his years as Managing Director at telecom giant Nortel (News - Alert)/Europe, Trampedach has a proven track record of developing multiple sales channels including both carrier and enterprise. He has also held sales and marketing leadership positions with industry leaders such as IBM Corporation; Bosch GmbH, Germany; Siemens (News - Alert) AG, Germany; and DSC Communications (Alcatel), Europe & USA.

Kurt holds a master's degree and PhD in Operations Research and Computer Science from the University of Karlsruhe in Germany, and studied at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology as a research fellow while completing his PhD.
Kurt will be responsible for building and managing DiVitas' worldwide sales efforts, including its growing number of highly valued channel partners including distributors, service providers, systems integrators and resellers.
