Solectria Renewables’ CTO, Michael Zuercher-Martinson, will sit in on a technology panel at an upcoming solar power conference in New Jersey.
Solectria Renewables is a U.S.-based PV inverter, string combiner and Web-based monitoring company for residential, commercial and utility-scale solar projects. Backed by over 20 years experience with inverters and other electronic power systems, Solectria manufactures a wide range of products which include 1.8kW to 500kW grid-tied inverters for 1kW to 2MW photovoltaic systems.
The company also offers string combiners and Web-based monitoring systems. The string combiners provided by Solectria Renewables are capable of combining 4-30 strings with multiple fused positions. Solectria offers a variety of Web-based monitoring system options through its SolrenView monitoring system, through which customers can view their solar system performance.
Solectria Renewables sees the event as a platform to expand its business operations. The conference combines the convergence of distributed PV and smart grids, as well as the expertise of technology experts in the PV and smart grid markets. North American utility executives, Wall Street investors, US influential policy makers, and industry market analysts will be present.
In the conference, GTM Research will present highlights and key findings from new market research detailing the growth of the smart grid over the next five years, including a bottom-up market forecast analysis that covers advanced metering infrastructure (AMI), distribution automation (DA), next-generation utility control systems, and home area networks (HAN). Understanding the smart grid or "Utility 2.0" will be imperative for understanding the evolving way in which PV will plug-in and communicate with both grid operators and homes and business.
