Energy Points Analytics Now Available on the Panoptix Platform by Johnson Controls

Energy Points recently announced that EnergyPoints Analytics is among the first applications that are available on Johnson Controls’ Panoptix Platform. EnergyPoints Analytics has been developed to offer a simple and one-to-one comparison of the consumption of energy resources spanning various domains including water, electricity, transportation, gas, waste, and materials.

In a statement, Laura Farnham, vice president, Building Technology and Services, Johnson Controls, said, “Energy Points is a valuable addition to the Panoptix platform and will provide building owners and facility managers with an important app to manage their facilities. With Energy Points, Panoptix customers can measure their environmental sustainability in a new and innovative way, providing facility managers and C-level executives with an intuitive way to compare energy resource consumption across multiple domains.”

The Panoptix solution integrates both software and services to enable improvement in the performance of buildings; reduce energy consumption; reduce operational costs; and bring down green-house gas emissions. The solution is supported by cloud-based apps which deliver improved visibility into the workings of every system, subsystem, and device and offers users with relevant information on course of actions to be taken which will help in enhancing their performance.

Ory Zik, founder and CEO of Energy Points, said that, “We’re proud to provide an innovative sustainability application on the Panoptix platform. Building owners are embracing environmental sustainability, but need to be able to quantify their projects and resource consumption in an intuitive manner. EnergyPoints Analytics imports critical building data from Panoptix, providing a comparative analysis of all resource consumption. As a result, building managers can make more effective project decisions based on scientific data, while being able to clearly communicate the true impact of these projects to the C-level.”

Irrespective of the size of the building, the solution allows users to access any building management system via any computer, tablet, or smartphone. The EnergyPoints Analytics app will make it easy for Panoptix customers, either individually or in logic groups, to keep a track on resource consumption within buildings. Easy-to-use maps included in the app make the identification of locations with scarce resources easy, thereby offering both short and long-term project performance analysis to enhance decision making.
