The slowing North American and European economies have affected the alternative energy stock market; even the strengthening economy in China has started to cool down. The Bedford Report has evaluated outlook for companies in the Alternative Energy Sector and provides research reports on American Superconductor (News - Alert) Corporation and Satcon Technology Corporation.
China, being the world's most prominent polluter, has managed to heavily invest into clean technology surpassing the US. China has invested $11.5 billion in asset-financing for clean technology in 2Q 2011. China's National Bureau of Statistics revealed that 3Q gross domestic product was up 9.1 percent compared to last year quarter; however, it has declined compared to the previous two quarters. Growth fell short of the median 9.2 percent forecast of 14 economists surveyed by Dow Jones Newswires.
The Bedford Report releases stock research on the Alternative Energy Sector that helps investors to stay ahead of the crowd and make the best investment decisions to maximize their returns. Companies providing alternative energy stocks are dependent on subsidy programs and hence they are considered exceptionally vulnerable during economic downturns. Additionally, with global economic concerns at a high, climate change worries have been pushed to the backburner.
Despite the economic concerns, analysts have not lost all confidence in the renewable energy sector. Analysts at S&P go on to note that crisis at Japan's Fukushima nuclear plant created "tremendous potential" in the land of the rising sun.
Bedford Report was in the news recently when it revealed the outlook for companies in the Computer Storage Devices Industry. While examining the outlook for companies in the Computer Storage Devices Industry, the Bedford report mentions Brocade (News - Alert) Communications Systems, Inc., which recently introduced its "CloudPlex" cloud architecture and NetApp, which launched its virtualized storage management offering, OnCommand.
