E FUN Unveils Next3 Android Tablet Computer Featuring E-Reader



E FUN, a provider of consumer electronics products, announced the addition of new Android (News - Alert) tablet, Next3, to its Nextbook brand of tablet computers.

Featuring Google (News - Alert) Inc.'s powerful Android 2.1 operating system, the new Next3 tablet features built-in e-reader and Wi-Fi (802.11 b/g) connectivity, thereby making it take anywhere/read anywhere tablets available in the market.

Apart from being a lightweight device, the new Next3 Nextbook features a large 8.4" TFT touch-screen color display. It is provided with built-in speakers, 2GB flash memory with an SD card slot and an MP3/photo viewer. The device is also provided with a removable case with magnetic closure provides protection.

The built-in Wi-Fi in the Next3 Nextbook facilitates users to browse the Internet, access e-mails in one-touch, watch YouTube (News - Alert) videos, listen to Internet music, and much more.

Apart from e-reader and Wi-Fi, the Next3 tablet computer also features a calculator, clock, and alarm.

"Our first Android tablet, the Next2, exceeded all expectations, selling out on HSN in less than a week in November," said Jason Liszewski, managing director and VP of sales for E FUN, in a statement. "Our new Next3 tablet continues our objective to provide easy-to-use lifestyle products filled with fun and functionality. With its large touch-screen color display, Borders eBook Store app, and multimedia capability, the Next3 delivers on all counts."

The E FUN Next3 tablet is pre-loaded with Borders eBook store. Next3 users can choose from more than one million titles, many of which are free, including new releases and the latest bestsellers, said officials with E FUN in a press release.

Compatible with Windows2000/XP/Vista/Windows 7, Linux and MAC OS, the E FUN Next3 tablet is provided with accessories such as AC adapter, USB cable and protective pouch.
