Renewable Energy: Lysanda, Sycada Deliver Fuel, CO2 Reduction Technology for Fleets

Lysanda, the provider of advanced technology for vehicle fuel savings, announced an agreement to supply Sycada, the company in mobile data communication solutions in Benelux, with CO2 and fuel reduction capabilities for corporate fleets. Sycada’s eco-friendly telematics division, Sycada.Green, will offer Lysanda’s suite of Eco-Log devices including Eco-Log Lite and Micro alongside its CO2 and fuel reduction program globally. The partnership monitors fuel consumption data for vehicles.


Sycada Mobile Solutions is an internationally operating company that specializes in mobile data communication solutions. Lysanda’s Eco-Log suite will enable Sycada.Green to deliver its new fuel reduction program effectively. Lysanda’s set of innovative solutions have been designed to provide accurate data on vehicle fuel consumption and fuel wastage. 

The Sycada.Green and Lysanda partnership is listed under the .Green Alliance. The Green Alliance partners cooperate on various fuel reduction and electric car projects in Europe with the aim of bringing synergistic technologies and competencies together.

“Lysanda and Sycada are revolutionizing fleet management, field service operations and remote machine monitoring,” said Alex Willard, CEO at Lysanda, in a statement. “The combination of our solution with Sycada’s mobile data communication know-how and distribution channel is an important step towards boosting adoption globally and providing a consistent and reliable customer experience.”

“Sycada.Green is committed to pushing the green agenda forward and accurate data on fuel consumption and wastage is a vital element in improving operational fleet efficiency,” said Kristian Winge, CEO at Sycada.Green, in a press release. “Our agreement with Lysanda allows us to combine this data with our telematics technologies, helping our customers further reduce emissions and costs.”

Lysanda is a provider of advanced technology for vehicle fuel savings. Its suite of Eco-Log solutions provides accurate data on fuel consumption and wastage. Lysanda is head quartered in the UK with offices in Kelvedon, Essex. Its leadership team boasts over 100 man-years of power train development experience and is led by founder and CEO, Alex Willard.

Alex Willard has over 16 years experience in the automotive industry and after establishing Lysanda in 2005, became the brains behind the Eco-Log project and supporting patents. Originally trained as a naval architect, Alex has held roles as a power-train technical specialist and program manager for Ford Motor Co and at engineering consultants, MSX Alex delivered complex advanced technology programs for a variety of clients including Jaguar Cars.

Sycada.Green uses telematics technologies to help corporations make reductions in fuel consumption and CO2 emissions. It supports fleet owners with leading edge technologies and a structured process. In addition, Sycada.Green facilitates the introduction of Electric Vehicles by providing in-car driver applications that reduces ‘range anxiety’ of EV drivers and a battery health monitoring system that facilitates the servicing and financing of electric cars.

Sycada is initiator of the .Green Alliance and has offices in Amsterdam, Munich, Düsseldorf, Bremen and Athens. It serves more than 1.000 corporate clients across Europe with telematics solutions.

In related news, Lysanda has been selected as a partner by TomTom (News - Alert) to integrate Lysanda’s software, Eco-log, into the new TomTom ecoPLUS. TomTom’s new ecoPLUS is a smart and easy installable device that connects to a vehicle’s onboard diagnostic solution.
